Dear creative, I am proud of you. Keep going.

It’s officially been a week since I touched down in Florida to teach my first in-person workshop of the year. Now that I’m back home in Dallas, reflecting on the experience, I want to share my most important takeaways with you:

✨ You are your best thing. Your heart, mind, and soul are what matters most. Let that be what you lead with in every interaction and it will open doors for you where there were none.

✨ Speak [and live] your truth. Even if it’s not what others would prefer.

✨ You’re more like your neighbor than you might imagine. When you show up authentically you will attract the people who see you and choose you because we’re always choosing ourselves.

✨ Since we’re always choosing ourselves, don’t be afraid to release what you no longer find fulfilling to make room for what lights you up. Stay in that energy and those who share space with you will too.

✨ If you’re ever doubting your abilities, look back at the story of you last year, month, week, day and you’ll find a pattern; one thing is for certain — you made it. Again and again. Despite of all odds, you are unstoppable.
