Reimagining Education: Empowering Black Millennial Educators

Last week's Educational Symposium hosted by EdChoice was truly an incredible experience. Being able to connect with a multitude of amazing Black creatives and educators from all over the country - it's safe to say we left feeling fulfilled, inspired, and ready to put in the work to continue our mission to ignite #millennialmagic at CFS.

Over the course of our time in Florida, we were able to break bread with like-minded creatives who were also able to participate in the first in-person workshop of the year. We had a fun science experiment to kick things off and by the end of the workshop, those in attendance had successfully completed a portion of the Creative Flow Forecast — the core of our curriculum.

If you were in attendance and reading this - thank you for making this such a special event and job well done. It is our sincerest hope that you were able to take away something beneficial from our time together.

We’d like to take a moment to thank Emory Edwards, Senior Outreach Director of EdChoice and Founder of Inspire Studios for inviting Creative Flow School to be part of this incredible event and part of important conversations regarding education, education reform, and much more. You can catch Emory, our Founder Rachel Rai, and many other incredible creatives on Saturday, June 30 in New Orleans for a screening of “From Our Perspective”, EdChoice’s documentary film that amplifies and prioritizes Black voices and views on education.
